Mission And Values

Transgender Community Coalition changes and creates ordinances, policies, laws and the attitudes of the public so that all people no matter where they are on the gender spectrum can live safely, authentically and free from discrimination regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation or gender expression.

We envision a future where Transgender and Human Rights Organizations are no longer necessary and all people are equal and allowed to live authentically as a basic right and with common human dignity.

Transgender people can be heterosexual, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Intersex, Asexual etc. We serve the largest spectrum of people with this organization.  Creating a local environment that nurtures an individual’s ability to live authentically is one of this organizations prime objectives.  We believe that the people we serve are entitled to freedom to live how they want to live, self-defined and self-determined, and our ultimate goal is to create an environment that engages the public to support the Transgender movement.

Those who often live outside the binary world pay a physical, emotional and economic toll on their constitutional rights and well being. We create environments that nurture those by opening doors to services and accommodations that equally accommodate all.  We pay close attention to government policies, health care, prisons, youth, mental health and other agencies to ensure that there are adequate building blocks for Transgender people to live authentically and find and define their own right to life liberty and pursuit to happiness.

Transgender Community Coalition is a strong believer in advocacy and stands up for those who need a voice and often becomes the buffer to protecting them from retaliation.  We work closely to address issues and change laws to ensure that all people can have dignity and respect.  We are sometimes the advocacy that is not pleasant to the ear but is needed to motivate change based on Truth.  Not only are we a trusted ally for constituents, but also for those who need assistance while bringing issues that need change.
